Meet Chris
In 2010 at 14 years old, Chris took his family’s only computer, an early generation Apple Mac Mini and built his first mobile app he called Utility Boy. It sat in the Apple App Store for a few months with few downloads. It was a dud. Failing engineering stories like these we hear all too few of. Rather, we hear of prodigies that build drop shipping companies, mobile apps, or even Tik-Toks overnight. What 99% of these prodigies do not disclose is that they too have made mistakes and miserably failed. Failing allows us to try again and engineer an iteration closer to success. There are no great successes without great failures, and no great failures without great passion. Chris didn’t build an overnight sensation, but he got something more out of it – a passion that would last a life time.
Chris has since
- Professionally published 4 of 8 created mobile apps across 3 different languages and 2 stores
- Created 3 hosted websites
- Worked for 2 Fortune 500 companies
- Acquired 2 Mentors
